In The Studio With Raintown

Had a lot of fun with Raintown last night recording something that will be coming out in the new year... ssshhh it's a big secret. Even more exciting is the fact that my wife got me a Mapex, Black Panther, Design Labs, Cherry Bomb, Snare drum for my birthday! It went straight from the shop (Drum Central in Edinburgh) to the session and made it's debut straight away. It's a fantastic sounding wee drum. All the focus and tightness of a small snare but with plenty of low end and oomph thanks to it being 7" deep and made of cherry wood. I'm a little bit in love.
